Disagree. Sporting events don't need a good DJ. They don't need one at all.

DJs are needed. They are supposed to provide a fun atmosphere for people to enjoy themselves and it helps bring students to the game.

Football has been played for a years without a DJ. That’s BS. Birmingham is a football crazed city. They don’t need a DJ to make it entertaining. No one is coming to see the DJ

I am not sure if a DJ is the answer, but football wasn't played for years with every timeout being 3 or 4 minutes long because of TV timeouts. The stadium gets dead, and they are trying to liven it up, not unlike you would find games/promotions/etc. at a minor league (or even major league) baseball game between innings.

But I will say, I actually commented the other night that the atmosphere was pretty alive and charged, even in the timeouts, and I thought Raita and his cutesy act took away from the whole environment and excitement of the moment. But most of the time, something is needed to fill that dead air.

Like a band, wait a minute...never mind

Name one football team that doesn’t have a DJ. Someone please post a “get off my lawn” GIF.
