I like KWill and definitely think he brings some good things, but he lacks the ball handling to ever take over that role. He is much better in a complimentary type role. He is like a poor man's Andre Igudola.
You're right about his ball handling not being on par with Jarron's, but I'd still like him to be far more aggressive out there on the wing. Take it to the hoop every time he has an opportunity. This tossing the ball around the perimeter with zero penetration from guys like Broome and Jenifer for 15-20 seconds and then someone jacking up a bad look towards the end of the shot clock is getting out of control.
Agreed. Im always in favor of attacking which is why I would have rather Logan been getting alot of JJ and Broome's minutes this year. But we all know how Mick feels about Seniors vs Freshman

Yep; very frustrating to watch.
Anyone else think Logan Johnson should immediately get Trevor Moore's minutes for the AAC Tournament? I hold no illusion that UC is positioned to win out in Memphis. Why not get prepared for the NCAA Tournament with a new look against teams UC has already played this season?
I know Logan has turned the ball over at an alarming rate at times, but he's also been impressive rebounding, cleaning up missed shots with stickbacks, steals, and defense. Arguably, business as usual hasn't been as effective the past few weeks. Maybe a change energizes the team.

This is a comically bad take. I guess we're about a day from you starting one of your patented, Why don't we have any white players? threads.

Mick prefers experienced players, and always had. I don't think that is a secret nor was it meant to be a slam. I don't recall ever starting a thread saying what you are alluding to.

If we're not asking our PGs to be PGs then I'm all for more Logan honestly taking minutes from JJ, Cane, Keith, and Trevor. If those guys aren't scoring and our rebounding is horrible give me Logan's help on the glass. I'm not arguing for Logan getting starter minutes but he provides something this team is struggling with; there's 10-15 minutes out there for him.

RE: How are we going to score this year?
Every coach in America prefers experienced players if you have them. Corey Davis Jr. is the heart and soul of that team. You take him out of Houston's lineup and they're an entirely different team. He's a beast on both ends, but he does a lot of little things that make them number one. That's experience. A coach on the floor. Sampson would be the first to tell you that. Those upper classmen guards would eat Logan alive over 25 or 30 minutes. JJ had a good year, but yesterday was a major disappointment for him. Good news is he has an opportunity to bounce back.
