I also believe the Cajuns would rather try another venue. New Orleans has been great. The Cajuns own the top five crowds in NO Bowl history. But it's my belief they're ready to go somewhere else. By they I mean the administration.
If App stays ranked, I would imagine they would be the NOBowl choice.
The Cajuns? If they are bowl eligible, I think they're visiting the mouse. The Cure has made it clear they want the Cajuns in Orlando.
Not sure about the rest of the Cajun nation but I personally do not want NOLA I would like mobile but would possibly visit Orlando.

Bowl Projections after Week 8

IF we win out we only need UCF to lose one game, and that game is the AAC Championship game. You have to be a conference champion to get the G5 Access Bowl slot. UCF winning out and then losing in their championship game would eliminate all of the AAC competition which are the only teams ranked ahead of us at this point.
OK, let me try this again. You DO NOT know who is ranked ahead of you because the CFP committee has not released the rankings yet. What the AP and Amway polls say matters not one iota.
This is true. CFP committee might not think so highly of us. It’s a relatively small group of people. We’ll find out next week Oct 30 when the first poll comes out.

And as long as ESPN has a say (and they do) and our season doesn't go off the rails, we probably won't be in the Cure Bowl.
I'm of the opinion, that for fans, the bar needs to be set a little higher. USF and UCF are the only two teams above App in the AP Poll right now and they still have to play each other. UCF also has a match-up against a surging Temple team on a short week this Thursday, Cincinnati, and Navy. USF has Houston, Cincinnati, and Temple left.
If App can take care of business, it's possible they will be in a position to be in the NY6, though it all depends on the perception of the CFP Committee.
That UCF/Temple game is not until next Thursday — both teams will have had 12 days since their last game on 10/20.
