My daughter graduated from Mizzou, and all my experiences with students, parents, and fans on that campus and in their stadium have been wonderful. They are by and large salt-of-the-earth, downhome, hardworking Midwesterners, and they love their football. They invented homecoming.

I apologize for that bad fan. Every school has them and alcohol contributes.

For the first time ever, a couple games ago in our own stadium, I almost got into it with a truly obnoxious fan behind me who started mouthing loudly from the time he sat down, using foul language in front of his young son and whole family. What finally got to me was his denigrating and bashing our players by name. I told him to shut the hell up. whatever

The UCONN ppl I talked to were pleasant and jealous of the tailgate scene. They loved it. They were also saying we would be good b/c of... PENNY HARDAWAY. I said yeah but you got three titles and idk how many the women have.

There was a Missouri fan who was being a d--- in our section. Pretty sure he left just before halftime. Is this the same situation???

Nice to hear a lil respect from UConn fans regarding bball. I have struck up convo with UConn fans at FedExForum only to get douchbaggery comments about how "Memphis isn't the program their fans think it is......" and "They cheated everytime they were good."

well.....have we ever been good when we weren't cheating?

Well there is the irony of a UCONN fan making those comments to a Memphis fan.

They have the ghosts of Jim Calhoun & Kevin Ollie still floating around
