Those who just insist that Rice should be no better than #129 are not focusing on the fact that there are many really awful teams.

Other than WKU, who's between Rice and UTEP?

127. Texas State
128. Bowling Green
129. Kent State

The MAC is just as bad as C-USA.

Two seasons ago, they finished 11-3 and were #28 in my final rankings. Their coach, Jeff Brohm, accepted the Purdue job in December, 2016. Saturday night, Purdue defeated Ohio State, 49-20.

Coaching matters.

\So who was coaching Purdue in their three losses?

I'm sure that you were too busy being petulant, but Coach Brohm pointed out in his post game interview that, after the first 3 games, he decided to change his coaching philosophy. The ability to adapt was sorely lacking in Rice's previous regime, and sadly, seems to be absent early on with the present staff.

The willingness to change is another mark of good coaching.

Agree with the latter 100%. Another way saying, don't force the square pegs into round holes.

Thanks for a civil answer to a serious question. But since you mention it, petulant about what?

Just having fun with the word after Antarius used it. Nothing else.

That's what I thought. Thanks for the response.
