It's kind of a bummer that he is only a Junior

Brown is only a Sophmore. COGS 02-13-banana 03-cloud9

I love how we have the luxury to let him run only 15-20 times a game and still have a super effective rushing attack. Should ensure that he keeps plenty of tread on the tires as he finishes out his last 2.5 years

I was really concerned the first few games, but it felt like we HAD to pound SB over and over to be successful. While it was effective, I worried about the toll it would take on him as the season went on.
We’ve clearly lightened his load. It hurts his stats, but in the long run, that’ll be good for him and the team.

It is also good for us to develop other RBs, both for depth and because letting Spencer hammer them and then bringing in a fast, slashing back is smart strategy.

Spencer won offensive POW in CUSA.

I think we are spreading the love more at RB to save us for later games & "later in the game"

Just throwing it out there, we need to be prepared to replace Brown after next season.

Why would you run one RB into the ground, when you have 5that can get the job done. Makes no sense. Especially when the others have attributes the main guy doesn't.

I think Donnie Lee is the most underrated part of our offense. On those counters we run it is almost always him knocking the DE or LB out of the hole so that RB can tuck it in under him. Super good on those little quick passes because he still runs like a running back.

Donnie Lee is the guy I'm secretly hoping will show out in our next bowl game and get his next job based on his performance.

I would take Donnie Lee on the Tennessee Titans right now

Agreed. Our blocking is always so spot on when we run the counters. Lucious hit a big one on 3rd and long during our final soul crushing drive.

The hell you say. Mr. Lee has seven more games to play for UAB. Remember the Titans? **** the Titans.
