NBA G-League expands
The Pelicans will keep the G-League in Erie through at least 2020 (some reports say 2022), then move the team to Birminngham, Alabama:

The current G League team in Erie is relocating to College Park, Georgia.

I would expect this to be divisional alignment for next year:

Atlantic - Westchester, Maine, Long Island Nets, Raptors 905
Central - Fort Wayne, Windy City, Wisconsin, Grand Rapids, Canton
Southeast - Erie/Birmingham, Delaware, Lakeland, Greensboro, College Park

Pacific - Reno, South Bay, Agua Caliente, Santa Cruz, Northern Arizona
Midwest - Iowa, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Sioux Falls
Southwest - Austin, Rio Grande Valley, Texas, Salt Lake

If Denver or Portland starts a team it might make sense for them to acquire Sioux Falls from Miami, and then Miami winds up bringing a replacement for the Pelicans’ affiliate to Erie.
