Well, I never considered the playoffs because they had no chance whatsoever of getting into the playoffs, but midway through the 3rd I was thinking... not only are we looking like hot garbage, but we are now making UCF look bad also. UCF is going to take a major hit to their rep because of how bad we looked today.

Anytime an American team goes out and lays an egg against a mediocre P5 team, it’s terrible for the conference.

When our better teams get curb stomped by middling P5 schools it deligitimizes the conference. UCF hasn’t lost a game in almost 2 years... but last weeks escape coupled with our performance in Columbia will impact them like a loss.

What is it on Auburn's?

With that said. Having a down season as it turns out. It was not long ago, last year in fat, when we knocked off UCLA and in the prior season came off of back to back ass whooping of mediocre Kansas. I am not sure this is fatal, just a reflection on a season with perhaps too high expectations after losing a starting QB.

Would not suspect it is very long before we win these games again. Mizzou is actually pretty good, even for a low middling SEC school. We are capable of winning but not today, and realistically, not without our best player, this year.

We lack toughness on this team. Anthony Miller was our toughness. Nobody replaced him. I see guys jogging on D all the time. Norvell needs to start getting in their faces. This team is as soft as high quality toilet paper.

UCF doesn’t belong being ranked top 15. They will take care of their own devaluation soon enough.

I don't disagree with this. We are better than this performance but not as good as perhaps last year led us to believe.

Right, more than his tangibles Miller's intangibles are missed. Losing the two close games amplifies this. Henderson loss really hurt too.

But yes, need someone to be the Memphis mojo glue guy next year...either more moxie and attitude from QB, more barking from a defender, but someone to be that guys. Hell with next year, before our next game. 4-0 would be a great recovery, 3-1 a nice salvage job.
