I watched most of the game. Neither team really impressed much. It was pretty windy in Toledo and it affected the passing game. Buffalo's QB looks the part. Big kid. I like our chances against both squads.

Miami Ohio looks solid. That will be a challenge for us down in Oxford.

Regardless, they will be a handful. Akron is away?

All the Toledo fans must've stayed home to watch the Michigan game.

This WMU @ CMU game looks empty. Let's see what the reported attendance is. We have an attendance problem, but from what I've seen over the years it's better than most MAC schools.

I have said it before and I will continue saying it. The quality of football in the MAC is quite good and the ticket prices make attending MAC games a bargain. It is a mystery to me why attendance sucks though weekday games have not helped.

The schools should band together through the conference and fund a marketing effort that would surface some ideas that all schools in the conference can tap into. Perhaps this has already been done and it has failed?

Said marketing campaign should bear the tag line "The Big Mac Attack" and it should have McDonald's as a sponsor, and it should feature JJ Watt, Ben Rothlesberger, Kalhil Mack, Kareem Hunt, Kenny Galaday, Michael Turner, etc.

And NIU should revive/ repeat the marketing campaign, "Big Time Football-- Right in Your Own Backyard."

Domes. Every MAC school need to dome up their stadiums!! And then, we change the schedule to start play in January!! We'll be the only football in the nation playing Jan - Apr, no need for bowl games! Think of the TV ratings! And each MAC school needs to start a video football team too, and both teams play on game days! That gets more student interest going.

Jeezzz I should be MAC commissioner...i mean, those ideas are about as good as playing on Tuesday night in the winter.

Box score says 18,114. I didn't see the game, so not sure if that is inflated.

Wishful thinking, but thanks. Maybe if we hosted Alabama we could draw 18,000. But bring as many Rockets fans as you want — there will be plenty of available seats.

I think it was around 50,000.

A little light for their regular Saturday games.

The quality of football in the MAC is not quite good. It's really not even that good. And it will be obvious again this year when the MAC gets destroyed in its Bowl games.

Mac football quality not good?!?! but yet......

-Eastern Michigan beats Purdue (you know the team that just beat #2 team in country!)
-Akron beats Northwestern
-Ball St loses to ND # 4 team in country by touchdown

and these are not even considered the good teams in the MAC!

You can have your opinions but facts are facts
