RE: Fall Ball Exhibition @ Sam Houston State
Anyone know what up with Dom DiCaprio? Not only did he not play yesterday, but he hasn't played in an intrasquad in a couple weeks. Certainly hope it's not a serious injury, especially after last year's injury-plagued season.

And for those who think our offense was bad last night...

A ragged cheer rises up from Oklahoma State's dugout after the official scorer awards Andrew Navigato an infield hit - the first hit for the Cowboys, in the 11th inning of play today. OSU hitters struck out 18 times through 10 innings.
Vandy playing at OSU, and had them no-hit though 10 innings. Ouch.

Looks like Berkman was at practice recently. Good to see him and Bragga getting along... Doubt JK invited him.

It was an absolute honor to have former Rice Owl, Six-Time MLB All-Star and World Series Champion Lance Berkman join us at practice to speak to our guys.
Bragga is making a concerted effort-- and a priority-- to reach out to former players. Expect to see many this Friday for the R Association tailgate and Aggie exhibition.

Saw this going around on Twitter and felt like I would drop it here. Don't have a subscription to the Athletic, so all I've been able to see are snippets. But it sounds like an...interesting article.

It seems like there are, unsurprisingly, two very different ways people are looking at this.

Again, does anyone know what's up with Dom DiCaprio? He hasn't played in intrasquads in several weeks.

Good article.
Doesn’t surprise me that players would appreciate it years later after enduring the minor leagues (which are worse than anything Graham could put them through). Rice does a lot to baby students and Graham sounds like he was giving them a dose of the real world.
Also doesn’t surprise me that it would scare a lot of recruits away and be used against us. Hopefully we get the stupid pitching injury monkey off our back. It’s been tweeted with this article on several occasions. Can’t hurt to stay up to date with the big leagues on sports med practices.
