The excitement on this board is palpable!
This is our season, our bowl game. We are 4 point dogs. We play (relatively) well at home. Remember, we've only had 2 home games so far. I'm done analyzing the team because I can't figure us out. But I'll predict a win this weekend by some weird score, like 25- 23.

So two touchdowns, three field goals, and a game winning saftey... I like it.

Or 11 safeties and a FG.

I'll take anything. Just win.

I see this as an important game for both teams in terms of setting the tone for the rest of the season. Both teams have some winnable games left - BG, CMU and EMU - do they continue to fight or pack their bags. The matchup pits our terrible run defense against their weak rushing attack - hopefully our D rises to the occasion.

20+ years of following this program tells me this is entirely possible.

How about a Julian Edelman-esque run on 4th down like circa 2008 on 4th and a mile except we actually pull the win out in OT?

That was an amazing run - but it was a muffed punt that let Akron back in the game - just prior to the muff that there was no reason to really have anyone field it

Those old "KSU" days of finding a way to lose are coming to an end. I can sense it.

I'm finding it really difficult to get psyched for this game. The Miami game really curved my enthusiasm, just like the Browns last game curbed my enthusiasm for that team.

Weather is not going to be very good. Noticed coupons in local stores for free tickets. There doesn’t appear to be much enthusiasm. Not surprising I guess.

This offense has become Haynes-era at best. Thankfully Akron sucks too so we're still in it.

Agree. We were creating a new, exciting offensive identity through the OU game. The last 2 games we have become boring and ineffective once again.
