The simple fact that Mueller is waiting until after the mid terms is because he doesn't want to come out looking Comey-like. He has nothing on Trump and he knows that not showing his cards will help the Demons in the mid-terms, doing so will help the Reps because there is nothing there there. He is a Demon in a sheeps hide trying to act non partisan. It's not working.

Now to the heart of the matter. Leaks haven't been coming from anybody with an ® next to their name, and the MSM wouldn't hesitate to release something damaging prior to the election. If Mueller found anything it would absolutely be leaked out by a member of his team or staffer that has seen it seeing as how every other piece of negative material from his investigation has leaked.

If the GOP had such tight control over all 3 branches of gov't - we wouldn't have heard anything from Mueller that the report is almost ready to go but is being held up until after the midterms.
If it is that damaging - any mention of the report would have been suppressed.

That's because most of us still believe in due process. The left no longer believe in due process. You simply WANT Trump to be caught up in this somehow that, in your mind, you simply can not reason he isn't, even if the report eventually tells you he isn't. Let's not kid ourselves, even if the Mueller report finds no collusion, you will still believe there was collusion, because that's what you WANT to believe.

Imagine believing mueller has the evidence that President Trump is a traitor and a puppet of Vladimir Putin, but he's going to hold off until after the election to tell everyone.

If he has such information and holds off even one day, then he is guilty of obstruction of justice of the highest order. If Donald Trump is an illegitimate president, then he should not be allowed to continue in office one more day.
