Curt Cignetti, Elon (N.C.) head coach: In his first season last year, Cignetti resurrected Elon to its first FCS playoff berth since 2009, and the Phoenix are off to a good start again this year. He turned around Indiana University of Pennsylvania before that. If BG is committed to a rebuild, the 57-year-old Cignetti has done it twice as a head coach.

While he may be down the list, Elon fans had to know this day was coming. It may not be this job but his name will likely continue to come up.
