Depends on how much value you put on being able to drink while you watch, having no lines to concessions or bathrooms, and having a general feeling of superiority. But my experience is limited, last time I was up there was a few years back. Not sure if anything has changed.

I prefer to watch the games closer to the court. It was okay being up there the few times I have been, but you still have to pay for food and drink...if you really want to drink during the game that badly, there are ways to accomplish that.

It's good for tall folks. Since you can stand at the bar tops and watch the game.

FWIW, I don't really care about drinking at the games. If I feel like drinking, I just go to Big Blue Club. I got an email about it and have thought about getting tickets there in the past, but haven't pulled trigger. The people I do know that have seats in there love it bc they get hammered every game.

Is it still easy to go up there without credentials? When I was a student I used to ride the elevator up to grab a beer, but the only game I went to after graduation was the VCU game a couple of years ago and there was an attendant right outside the elevator. Not saying I would do it if I came for a game this year, just asking for a friend 03-wink

I like it. Different experience. I still prefer being low and wouldn't commit to a whole season up there, but I like it every once in awhile.

Not cool that they reduced requirements for 4400 club after donors paid for season tickets. I get what they're trying to do but they could have made that clear when it came time to renew.

What were the requirements?

$1k donation plus price of club ticket. Now they don't require a donation.

It depends what time you get to games. If you are someone that likes to get there early, have a drink, grab a snack, and watch the teams warm up...then it is a great idea for you. The drink lines are never bad and there is always people up there to talk to. I really enjoy it, as you are never rushed the finish your drink before heading back to your seat. I will say that the food is not the best.

Is it the same as the food on the top level near the suites? I'm up there a couple times per year for various events. Food is acceptable, but would rather just eat dinner beforehand if I can.
