If so shouldn't you guys stop borrowing the Alamo Dome and build your own stadium? Especially since you think the school is actually becoming committed to athletics?

Yes I want an on campus stadium. But for now we have the dome which was renovated and probably the nicest stadium in cusa. A lot of teams have domes, a lot of teams have open. I'm sure 8 years into football we don't have the clout to get an on campus stadium. We are lucky to have the dome. It's also a nightmare to park and drive there. We live in a city of 2.6 million, we also have the Spurs. Give us 20 years and then let's see where we are at. As it relates to indoor outdoor gms build their team around the conditions, such as a stadium indoor and outdoor

There are a ton of people who love the dome. It's hot as hell down here but still I want on campus stadium. There's also the riverwalk down there, they are expanding the campus and dorms and buidings downtown. So the dome will be basically 1.5 miles from our downtown campus which is turning into a main campus 2 with 10-15k students. Plus the city has the Pearl which is a hot spot and a great place to go and party. So I'm sure they have a plan. They just invested 80 million into the dome for the final 4. So the athletic complex on the original main campus 15 miles from downtown and then the upgraded downtown campus which is drastically expanding near the dome which hopefully will bring more people to games as we grow the fan base and get better
