Not to dog pile on UTSA's cannon, but it may be an issue that they play indoors and Fire Marshall or someone will not allow a real cannon to be fired. Most of the teams that I know of that have a cannon and they fire are all outdoor stadiums. That said, it does look comical, you guys can do better.

Maybe they should give this one a try. Sync it with a loud "BOOM" over the audio system.

The only good news from that embarrassment last night was that Josh Dunlop's bold take that Jaylon Ferguson would not get a sack. That and the fact that Mike Jinks was fired from Bowling Green and cam come back to San Antonio

UNT would fired that cannon off every time they came close to scoring.

The announcer was quite comical also giving UNT a first down even when 3-4 yards short, “another Mean Green first down” ... “actually the referee will spot the ball 3 yards short”

Then taking away yards from Tech, “3rd and 3” when it was clearly “3rd and 1”

UNT pulled out all the stops to try and beat Tech.....to no avail

I though UNT firing off their cannon when they lost the game on a blocked field goal was funnier than UTSA cannon.

That cannon is just really sad. Do better UTSA, a Southland school could pull that maneuver off sheesh.
