Channel 5 uses private weather service that many stations across the country use. Not the National Weather Service WREG uses; their forecast for Memphis encompasses the entire mid south region. So their hourly forecast starts geographically just east of Little Rock. So if they predict rain THERE at 5pm, that will be the MEMPHIS forecast.

Channel 5 zeros in on Memphis area only and their hourly forecast for the immediate area is MUCH more reliable. I followed this closely in my line of work for 25 years

My educated guess is Rain will start at Stadium around 7-8 pm. We should all be long gone.

I blew the weather but I was one of the few who said the Tigers would be in the game at the end of the game and none of the “only way we beat UCF is ......” nonsense most of the board was spouting. The refs took the games from us with two huge call and non call in last 6 minutes.
