Temple opened as a 4.5 point favorite that line has moved to 7. Temple leads the all time series 7-6. Temple has won the last 2 meetings including the American Conference Championship game in 2016 and last year.

Navy will obviously rely on their run game; Temple has had mixed success stopping the run this year but have performed well against Navy the last two years. Navy lost 35-7 last week to Air Force, but has a win over Memphis this year. Temple beat ECU last week 49-6.

The coach of that great Navy team was none other than Wayne Hardin, who later coached Temple in the 70's and was very successful there as well.
