FB interdivision
I have heard of a few or none interdivision matchups what I'd like is the whole picture of the entire division.

If you don't know, UTSA has played football since 2011, been a conference member since 2012 (WAC), been a C-USA member since 2013, and been a FBS member since 2014.

• All series alternate yrs and H/A unless otherwise specified

Marshall (1-1 -22) | '13A)-24, '17)+2
ODU (0-2 -19) | '15H)-5-14
Charlotte (2-0 +22) | '15A)+3+19
WKU (0-1 -38) | '14A)-38
MT (1-1 -15) | '15H)-35+20
FAU (0-1 -4) | '14A)-4
FIU (1-1 -4) | '14H)+3, '17)-7

In other words all but WKU and FAU we have met home and away. Those two exceptions we've met only once on the road, never hosting yet.

I think you mean you've been in the FBS since 2012

No, not officially. We've been in an FBS conference since our 2nd year of football, but the NCAA didn't recognize us as an official FBS program until our 4th year. They have a rule stipulating that startup programs need to wait until their 3rd season of FBS play to be eligible for a possible bowl.

..................................................
We went 8-4 in our second season against the following schedule...

South Alabama
A&M-Commerce
Georgia State
NW Oklahoma State
New Mexico State
Rice
San Jose State
Utah State
LA Tech
McNeese State
Idaho
Texas State

Even though we were 8-4, we didn't have enough wins against official FBS teams that year to be eligible anyway, even if that rule hadn't existed.

..................................................
We then went 7-5 in 2013 (our 3rd year, but only 2nd of FBS play) against the following schedule, and would've actually been bowl eligible that year if not for the NCAA rule requiring us to be in our 3rd year of FBS play...

New Mexico
Oklahoma State
Arizona
UTEP
Houston
Marshall
Rice
UAB
Tulsa
Tulane
North Texas
LA Tech

That was terribly frustrating for our coaches, players, fans, and anyone affiliated with our university because that was probably the best team we've ever fielded.

RE: FB interdivision
One of the things that messed up CUSA with the interdivision play is from CUSA having 13 teams from 2014-2016. Then, when UAB came back, we were in the West instead of the East. Going forward, it will rotate home & away every other year. UAB has had MTSU and Charlotte this year and last. Next two years, we'll have WKU and FIU.

RE: FB interdivision
With several posters stating already who they have next year, is there a list posted somewhere to find out who USM has from the East the next 2 years? Marshall has already posted in another thread they have La Tech and Rice so i know we don't have them. Thanks in advance

I didn't realize both East schools rotated. I thought MT was always going to be a crossover game with just one East school rotating.

It felt that way for USM and Marshall as we've played every year since the reconfiguring and such. If I'm not mistaken USM and Marshall have the current consecutive seasons streak of CUSA teams playing each other with this year making 14 straight as we've played each other yearly since 2005. But as I mentioned above, Marshall fans have stated next year their crossover games are Rice and La Tech.

I asked Coach Clark if MTSU was staying on our schedule permanently & he told me WKU and FIU will be our east division rivals the next two years.
