Elon continues to benefit for terrible officiating. UD had a 4th down forced and a late hit call on a routine tackle while the play was still live.

Towson gets a generous TD call to lead 23-13. Their receiver caught the ball out of bounds but it was called a TD and reviewed and upheld. IMO the video evidence of an in-bounds catch wasn't conclusive enough to let it stand.

Unbelievable the gift Towson just got with a ball that was obviously being bobbled until the receiver was well out of bounds being called a TD. They reviewed it and I can only assume the replay they had was in the same resolution as Tecmo Bowl.

TD Blue Hens makes it 28-16 over Elon.

What a difference a week makes. The Dukes win convincingly. #5 Elon loses to Delaware. #6 (tied with JMU) Wofford loses to Furman. #4 Eastern Washington is down early (14-0 in 2nd qtr.) to Weber St. More shuffling to come in the top of the rankings.

Update: Eastern Washington loses to Weber St. 14-6.

Really no reason to care about this at this point. I know we'd love to have home field throughout the playoffs but there are a lot of issues to address internally, so I'm not really worried about that. It's the cliche' one game at a time mentality for the Dukes right now. The rest of things take care of themselves. Elon lost their QB and didn't even play Summers today. They said he got too banged up against JMU. That's how hard the league is.
