And I see as I suspected in my earlier post back on the 9th, he and Smart must be friends of some sort, as Aquan is responding to his tweets. Would getting them both be too much to hope for?
And no, not a hoax. Or if it is, it's a good one.

Well.....we *did* get 'em both. I'm not gonna allow myself to get excited, however, because of the way Curtis (and others) didn't fit in and/or get a real chance. We'll just wait and see.
I will say that kinda like Walters, he drops the ball low on his body before shooting the J, resulting in a slower release, and giving elite defenders more time to stop it. But since he's got more penetrative ability than Walters, that may not be as important. Depends on who all else we have as a shooter then.
Rangy 6'3" Aquan Smart, with the length and hops to play above the rim, is a very different player than the 5-10/5-11 below-the-rim Julian Walters. Agree that the release point on his shot reduces the advantage that his length and leaping ability should give. Can't wait to see him in a Bucs uniform!
We have offered these two 2022 recruits from Rock Hill, SC and I assume they're brothers.
PG Kory Davis (5-9, -, 2★) has received an offer from ETSU.
PG Kendall Davis (5-9, -, 2★) has received an offer from ETSU.

5’10 2022 Kory Davis (York Prep)
Kory Davis and his brother, Kendall Davis, are two very exciting guard prospects with many of the same strengths on the court. Both brothers stood out today and played excellent games, with Kory in particular putting on a scoring clinic and played great defense, leading York Prep to victory. He is very tough when attacking the basket and uses his body to finish strong through contact. He made a concerted effort to jump into passing lanes and it led to easy transition buckets for his team. Turning defense into offense was the story of this game and it started and finished with Kory. Both the Davis brothers will continue to make noise as they grow as players.
Kendall Davis, York Prep, 5-9, PG 2022: Davis was a do-it-all “hustle guy”. He had no fear in crashing the boards and taking multiple charges. Yes, MULTIPLE CHARGES. He embraced whatever was needed to get the job done. He was also confident in embracing contact from defenders on his finishes around the rim. The son of former UNC and South Carolina standout Larry Davis, now the coach at York Prep (SC). - Justin Byerly
Their father, Larry Davis, averaged 44 a game as a senior in H.S., and was on UNC's 1993 national championship team under Dean Smith. Then transferred back home to SC and helped USC win their first SEC championship (1997), scoring over 1000 points in 2 years under Eddie Folger. Moved around in the coaching ranks since then, including 1 year at our first opponent this season, Newberry. One wonders if somehow Larry is someone Forbes has known in coaching circles. He certainly must think VERY highly of these guys - who are just h.s. sophomores.

The all-knowing poster can't even put 2&2 together. Larry Davis played with ETSU Assistant BJ McKie at South Carolina...try and keep up

That is two shots you have taken at thedoctor today. I disagree with him about a few things and he can get long winded but he is a solid contributor to this board, what have you brought?

You're asking *me* to keep up?!? See in my original post: "Then transferred back home to SC and helped USC win their first SEC championship (1997), scoring over 1000 points in 2 years under Eddie Folger."
Don't know what I ever did you rile you up, but I've got a thick skin, so enjoy yourself. And no, I didn't know I needed to draw a diagram for you.

look back at the posts and think what former poster it might be.....
Speaking of twins, outside of the VMI's Ramon and Damon I can't think of of a set where they were equal in skill (any sport)
Both might be very good but one is usually a step above the other. Sometimes it even seems like you take both just to get
the one star.

Flashmob is like herpes. Shows up on occasion, yet never entirely goes away.

Horace and Harvey Grant played 28 NBA seasons between them. Horace averaged over 11 ppg and Harvey averaged about 10 ppg. They started at Clemson, although Harvey transferred to Oklahoma. Both were very good college players, of course.
The example I remember as a kid of equal playing twins were the Van Arsdales. Dick and Tom Van Arsdale went to Indiana and scored almost the same number of points there. They were drafted #11 and #12 in the NBA draft of 1966. Both were on the all-rookie team in 1967. They each played 12 seasons and made 3 all-star games. Dick averaged 15+ ppg and Tom averaged 14+ ppg.
