True. And I thought he was thoroughly hosed by the Spotswood coaching staff. What do you think?

You’re correct. Clayton just finished his Jr. year in GA before moving to VA.

Withers was right for us at that specific time, but in the end, he needed to go.

It's like that classic saying... "The two best days of my life were the day I bought my boat and the day I sold my boat".

Let's also not forget, that at the time Withers left, we were also losing Kenny and Brady, other schools were offering COI and JMU had done nothing. There was a time when it certainly seemed everything was falling apart. With the benefit of hindsight, we can see that it all worked out, but that was a turbulent time for JMU athletics, for sure.
