Not true.

If you've noticed on the ESPN broadcasts this year, they show NIU now instead of N. Illinois on the scoreboard which is a huge step in the right direction.

I take it as a compliment that he’s not allowed to transfer to NIU.

I think it's time for a "scoooooooooore booooooooooard" chant.

in a week the list will not matter. New NCAA rule prohibits schools from listing where a transfer may not go. Of course that might still be held true for transferring within a conference. That will all depend on the conferences themselves.

This new redshirt rule has opened up a can of worms.

It’s common practice to not allow transfers to go to future opponents.

Hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Don't think you will see him change that all the time, but he does say NIU from time to time.
