Spring official signing day ends a week from today. It still looks like we have two spots left.

Well tomorrow is the last day of the spring signing season and we started off great. Still showing Landon Kirkwood and Mohammed Diarra as uncommitted.
Not sure if we are waiting on Kirkwood and then moving on with filling the other two spots with transfers although those will immediate eligibility are drying up (see verbalcommits).

Kirkwood still has not committed although I don't know why. Diarra I suspect will return to France. The staff appears to be looking at transfers so it may be some time before this class is complete.

played 2/3 of a year at Illinois state after JUCO and was pretty good. then, showed up at green bay but i don't think he played. 5th year guy, not really a juco.

Okay, here is an article from a GB newspaper.

Josh, started at a JUCO and then transferred to IL. State and then to WI-GB. Sat out at WI-GB.

Played one season at IL State and none at WI-GB (transfer sitout).

He has been out of h.s. 4 years and need a waiver to play this year.

I assume that if he doesn't get a waiver he'll return to WI-GB.

I'm not sure who is desperate, us or the players.

If I were a D-I athlete and not have signed on for the upcoming season I'd be looking pretty hard at an offer to accept.

Presumably most schools will be open say July 1 for student athletes.

Murphy has been pretty skilled at getting players late in the recruiting cycle. Many are much better than those available a few months ago.

Ain't that the truth Cow. No more fourth place MAC records celebrating a Division championship, the old boys network of the former MAC West must be shaking in their boots. The MAC has been the ONLY D-1 basketball with two divisions, the change was long overdue.
