RE: NIU-Ohio odds
No big surprise:

First the obvious stuff from last week involved in-game injuries to starting QB Nathan Rourke, starting LT Joe Lowery and backup RB Julian Ross, as well as a day-before-the-game injury for backup RB Maleek Irons.

In addition to all of that, starting TE Connor Brown was held out of most of practice this week. And starting CB Jalen Fox did not play against Kent State because of injury.

That’s a lot of key players who were ‘questionable’ for most of the week.

The good news for Ohio is head coach Frank Solich expects most of that group to play, or at the least to be available. Solich has kept injury info closer to the vest than usual this week, but indicated late this week that Rourke, Lowery, Irons, Ross and Brown will be available on Saturday.

Line has jumped all the way to NIU -6 this morning. Is the Ohio QB O’Rourke officially out for today?

Must be out. Line doesn’t move that quickly.

RE: NIU-Ohio odds
Still early though. I have a feeling Toledo will make a game of it before all is said and done.
