I don't think you mean Monday Night. That's 24 hours from now and the storm is still hundreds of miles from the coast.

By the time it gets here, it'll be all rain and maybe some wind. It's going to make it more challenging to get the Eagles to San Marcos by Thursday though. Everyone say a quick prayer for safe travels this week.

I'm definitely curious how it'll alter our travel plans

So...Saturday they said Tropical Storm when it makes landfall, yesterday they upgraded that to Cat 1 and now its Cat 2 when it makes landfall. Considering how hot it is I hope it doesnt become a Cat 3.

Lack of windshear is likely to be the primary driving force behind strengthening. Contrary to popular belief, heat isn't even the primary factor behind the strength of hurricanes. Lack of a force working perpendicular to the direction of the storm is the primary concern here.

Hopefully it won't be a bad one. Just got back yesterday from a quick long weekend in PCB.

I'm sure they're looking for every reason not to have to play North Texas.

I hope this doesn't keep happening. Otherwise we'll be Category 5 by Wednesday...

Forecast to be a Cat 3 at landfall now!

At North Texas. That would be a hell of a game to dodge, but considering the Hurricane is making land fall Hundreds of miles away from Denton, that would take one hell of an excuse.

But then again, somehow a football game scheduled to played in the freaking Appalachian Mountains got cancelled by a hurricane, so I guess anything is possible.
