RE: New Year 6 Bowl Race
Miss. St over KSU, LSU over UM, Aub over UW, Miss over TT, a two point loss to Clemson. Doesn't SOS have a connection to OOC. If the SEC does not do well in these games make the conference look weaker affecting that perception.

Collective OOC is the ultimate determinant of SOS. The 2015 AAC garnered its reputation from Navy, Temple, Houston, and Memphis collective results in the OOC. Thats why it matters when the lesser teams in the conference manage to notch wins against P5 opponents (i.e ECU) and when the perceived stronger teams lose to G5 or FCS teams (i.e Temple and Navy). If the American ever produces a playoff team it will be because in addition to having a strong team run the table, the conference as a collective scores major wins in the OOC.
