GS is still in rebuild mode. Every team we've played has a better O Line. App and Troy are clearly very good and probably way better than the rest of the conference. stAte is good and GS is good enough to win any game left on the schedule. Coastal and Ga St have shown they can put points on the board. The rest of the West round out the bottom 4.

The way we've been playing in the second half we're as good as anyone. But probing the defense in the first half or whatever the heck it is we're doing could get us in a hole against Troy or App that we can't get out of.

As good as Shai has been he still has another gear or two left to hit and our OL is still holding us back. We are about 70% from getting on App / Troy's level. We still can have a bad day and get beat by a TXST. I think App and Troy can have a bad day and still win by 10+ with any team in the Belt right now.

At least we are consistent.

Well, you're not taking matchups into consideration. GS has always had our number, which already gives you 10 points in my opinion. Troy is good, but we are not sure if our starting QB will be back, and backup QB Sawyer Smith is great, but hasn't played a defense like GS.

GS, APP, and SOUTH have the best chances of beating us. South isn't very good, but that's a special game. APP is on another planet right now. Then there's Liberty this week and we are without Kaleb Barker and our best defensive player Tron Folsom. Back half of this season is going to be tough for Troy.

Yes, it does. Basically, App has been doing exactly what they're supposed to do against bad teams. Had App been struggling or just playing ho-hum games against Charlotte and Gardner-Webb, they would have been penalized for it.

S&P+ is heavily based on Success Rate (think: staying on schedule) which App does really well, so yes, S&P loves App even with the adjustments from bad opponents.

And have lost each. App put up 42 in the first half alone while only allowing 7 points.
