13 Kentucky lost.

Florida is to far out to jump UCF but will be right behind them and anm already has multiple losses.

Most of the others receiving votes between cincy and USF lost. The AAC teams will pick up some of those. UCF will pick up votes off of other people who had them rated below Kentucky or Stanford if Stanford loses. Washington struggled with UCLA and won't gain huge because of it.

Night is going tip top for AAC.

Just a reminder we had 3 teams in the polls almost all of the second half of the season. We may get four this year and one who is top 10 for the entire second half.

They were already ahead of Kentucky, which I forgot, so no jumping there. Texas definitely will jump them by beating Oklahoma, who in turn will still stay ahead of UCF by virtue of playing in the B12 and losing to a ranked team.

You might be right about Florida but don't bet on that one. Stanford seems to always squeak out victories late, so don't count on them losing, until it happens.

Jumping Washington is possible but I'd say less then 50% chance that happens. The only team I definitely see UCF jumping is Auburn. They would jump Stanford if they lose.

As for 3 teams in the polls in the second half, I'd love for that to happen again, but we haven't reached the second half yet. I see 2 two AAC teams this week.

EDIT: I wrote this last night but forgot to hit the post button. In revising with the Stanford loss, I'll adjust my UCF to 10th spot for reasons you stated above. In your other post you talk about point difference when in reality position is all that matters. A&M was only 4 spots behind USF prior to beating Auburn. They will definitely jump USF regardless of the points behind they were. Miss State was a little further in spots behind but most likely will jump USF based on beating a 13th ranked team. These types of victories have a way of changing P5 voters in their favor.

Actually the points are what count, it's what decides your rank. People tend to be stuck in their ways, they don't like being wrong. Those people will keep USF in front because they were already in front.

UCF will get the bump because of the same reason and people who thought Stanford and Kentucky we're better will just move UCF into their spot.

Happily you are correct in the coaches poll!

The AP voters are more fickle and tend to have more jumps. We'll know shortly
