With the postseason hopes all but over and the worst season in their history looking more and more likely, there’s a part of me that hopes ODU loses out while Virginia Tech wins out, somehow gets into the CFP and beats Roll Tide for the title, that lone loss to a 1-11 ODU sticking out as the world’s greatest WTF.

Statistically when’s the last time an ODU defense gave up this many yards per game? It’s another game with 600 yards allowed. This defense is bad, even by ODU standards.

So now I guess ND will destroy VT. I seriously thought when we beat Virginia Tech it was the beginning of something special. We beat a crappy Virginia Tech Team and technically beat a crappy ECU team. Nothing will change until the coaching staff does.

Put Larussa in at the start of the 2nd half of the Liberty game and this would have been a different season.

Yep. At least we would have half of a football team. What the hell happened to our defense?

Don't look now, but we lose 22 seniors including 2 NFL draft prospects this year. Next year ought to be a hoot.

Can't be much worse.

No doubt if BL comes out at half time vs Libery we'd probably be 3-3 right now.

We have averaged 125 in the recruiting ranks for 4 years. This could be a long 4 years if we have the same coordinators

Yep. I have no issues with rebuilding years. Just about every team has them. But I expected one next year. This was has been an epic failure by any standard, even with the VT win.

If Nagy is back next year....
