I saw that story earlier today. I thought it was interesting Stevens was labeled a lifelong Republican in the story (I realize Ford nominated him for the Court but he was a pretty liberal judge.

Those of you who oppose Judge Kavanaugh for political or ideological reasons, that's fine. That's how this country works. But those of you who believe he isn't qualified because he got angry or because he cried are wrong. There is no way I want a man who doesn't get angry or doesn't cry making decisions for all the rest of us. Such a man is no man at all.

Does retired Justice Stevens get a vote?
