Kind of random but it's something that has always fascinated me. I don't think I would have given it two thoughts about it other than I went to a hypnosis show in college just some random mid week show a friend asked me did I want to check it out.

What really sold me was I asked my dorm neighbor did he want to go and he was like what the hell and rolled out 10 minutes before the show with little thought with us. When we got there he was like it's bull **** and when they asked for volunteers he actually went up.

You got to understand the guy he was the most anti establishment dude I ever met and he was one of the most easily hypnotized on stage. The stuff he did there is zero way he would have ever done in a million years had he been in control. Zero.

When it was over and the guy came back he was like what happened, and thought it had only been 10 minutes when this was like 2 hours later I told him what he did the look on his face I will never forget. There is no way he was faking that. He was in shock.

The only thing he recalled out of it all was when the hypnotist had the guy beside of him have a baby and somehow he must have been confused because he said he could see the head coming out from between his legs. I actually remember him griminess during that because I was looking at him the whole show.

Anyway a week later or so I was talking to him again and he was like man it's crazy I've been reading night and day, and I was like Oh yeah, that was like the final thing the hypnotist gave the volunteers was that they would sleep well and study easily or something. He had no clue.

I also went to another one some years later there was a church group there with a religious lady I knew a little cursing on stage in front of them. No way she would ever do that otherwise. Powerful stuff.
