It's Canada and didn't happen in Mountie jurisdiction. If he had pulled that stunt in wide open spaces the Mounties would have nailed him, if the locals didn't get him first. Canada is just like us. The bigger the city the more reprehensible the behavior and the more absent the law. The more rural it gets the more you recognize civility. But that's because rural folks don't tolerate airheaded punks kicking women, but agenda driven city folks apparently don't care about anyone's rights but their own.
It's no accident that Trump carried everything in the United States outside of major cities, which were mostly blue.
If this keeps up we don't need a war. We just need the rural areas to quit exporting food to the cities. Apparently they would have a hard time identifying the animals that they eat and sure wouldn't know how to dress one, cut it up, and package it for freezing and they would be totally clueless as how to grow crops.
Their whole lives are so removed from the everyday reality of life and so focused on money and sex is it any wonder that their culture is so far removed from reason and common sense?
I figured this out 40 plus years ago when we were raising children and I had to explain PDA's (straight and gay) to my kids when going through Atlanta. Most of the non metro areas see very little of it. It's why reasonable rural people never hated people of other gender orientations because what they did they did at home and not on the sidewalks or in buses or air terminals, just like all rural folks. Public spaces are no place to begin foreplay.
I had to explain to one gay man at work that fully nude beefcake calendars on his desk were just as inappropriate as fully nude cheesecake calendars in that both were counter productive to his work for the University and offensive to its donors which came to the foundation office and would see his calendar at his desk. That was one explanation that I never thought I would have to give anyone.
So remove people from nature (and cities are unnatural as hell itself) and watch them get detached from the reality of how the world really works. Then when they decide that not being able to survive on their own is somehow enlightened, and that whatever they decide should be the standard for the rest of us because it is they who should shape our world, and then they seek to impose those views upon the rustic know nothings, they shouldn't be surprised if we reject their ignorant arrogant butts outright! It's amazing to us that anyone who thinks enlightenment is related to how well you can cheat investors, cook books, embezzle, or make their money off of the acquisition and destruction of someone else's labor, should consider their way of life superior. It's certainly nothing to be proud of and it just boggles the minds of normal people everywhere. And to have them think that they can shove their totally delusional version of reality on the rest of us is the height of folly.
At the end of every day people need 3 or 4 things to live well. They need food, water, shelter, and usually access to medical care. If they have a clean water source, can produce their own food, build their own home, and access a doctor, they don't need one damn thing from a city! But let's see how long the city can do without those who send them clean water and grow and manage their food. And let's see in time of economic uncertainty how long those in downsizing companies can afford their high dollar rent.
Farmers, ranchers, lumbermen, and contractors are seldom detached from reality and are truly self sufficient. When the crap hits the fan give me people with practical knowledge and needed skill sets over a cubicle dweller any day. So if anything in this country is out of touch with reality and is delusional and arrogant, it's the blue areas, not the red ones. So the gang group think corporate mentality that has taken over the Supreme Court hearings comes from only one source, major cities. Unfortunately their version of culture and success is broadly taught and touted out our universities.
The same is true in Canada. Not all Canadians are whacko leftists, unless of course they come from Montreal or Toronto or one of their other totally urban areas. Other than having an anthem that is easier to sing, and putting Queen Eizabeth's head on their coins, Canadians are pretty much like us. I doubt this deluded hairdresser would survive a day in the Hudson Bay area. But, I would love to see that roundhouse kick utilized to impress a Grizzly!
