Bus trip to Colgate?
I know the Duke Club is doing a watch party at BFS. Anyone know of any plans for a bus trip for either students or other folks?

Where did you hear this about BFS hosting a watch party? I know they did that in 2016 when we were in Fargo.

Email from the Duke Club. $20 for food, non-alcholic drinks in club.

Not sure if there is enough time to pull it off, but what would a bus rental of 25-30 people cost, I'm thinking $100-125 pp. Maybe twice that if it's a luxury bus and 10-20 people.

Would love to see someone organize that, but it would need to depart Harrisonburg around 5am or NoVa around 6am to be safe, unless Hotel stay is involved, which would get logistically complicated for a group.

RE: Bus trip to Colgate?
I organized one from Richmond to Towson, 55 person bus with 40 people on it was $40 per person (coolers in the extra seats). I'll check with Martz and James River today, I'm not sure what the rules are on a turnaround for a driver. It's about 8 hours each way, is there a rule about having to stay overnight? Either way, I'll find out today and post it. Not sure if I can make it, but if enough people are interested then someone can take it over.

An individual driver would need 8 hours off between legs. Maybe you could hire two drivers who trade off after you get there? Not sure how much more that would run you.

I tried a local transport company but it was too long for a day trip and they don't do overnights, maybe Steeler's options will come though. I can't believe the DC hasn't come up with a travel package for this game.

RE: Bus trip to Colgate?
Martz Group can handle the trip for $5,480.00 on a 55 person bus. If you fill it up, that's $100 per person not including tipping the driver. That's leaving at 2 am from the Sliding Hill exit at I-95 and I-295, which should put us up there around 10 am.

EDIT- didn't account for the extra driver, so really you're probably only working with 53 seats so around $105 per person not including a tip.
