What they are saying is that our defensive front 7 were unstoppable.
We played great defensive football again.

"That was the worst home beatdown since UCF in 1995.
This was worse than MSU last year.
UAB kicked in our front teeth, took our lunch money and stole our date to the dance.
We suck - our coaches suck. "

This is what they are saying now. It was interesting to read that thread. It sounded a lot like blazertalk prior to hiring Clark.
Of course it was fun to read the cocky posts prior to our offense finding a rhythm.

say what? LOL!the officials in last year's game literally marched LT into potential game winning FG range. Their PK just didn't get the ball up high enough. Those officials should have turned their game checks in for the way they called that one. The ecstasy at the end was almost worth the agony we endured up to that point.

You're telling me I paid out all that cash, and made sweet love to that female line judge to overlook the sideline touch on the Ubosi catch, and it was just the same simple incompetence that rules everything CUSA does?

Wow.
I kinda feel bad for their QB after reading all that. I remember thinking unless he had made a real leap from last year, he didn't scare me at all, but damn.
As far as their comments about us, well, cry me a river.

Thanks Holtz and J’mar... UAB officially made us their *****.”

RE: What La Tech is Saying
I need to put in a good word for the La Tech fans that we encountered at the game. Many saw us walking up to the stadium and around the area and said "Welcome to La Tech",, etc, very cordial folks. And one fellow , a season ticket holder at La Tech really bailed us out. We went in the wrong gate and discovered that you cant walk around the stadium once inside the gate; you are either on the Press Box side or the student and visitor side. They scan your ticket when you walk in and you cant leave and get scanned again at another gate. So we, in our green and gold were among the La Tech faithful trying to figure out where we could sit and still act our like UAB fans... anyhow,, this fine fellow walked us back out to the gate to see if there was a way for us to get back in on the other side, but that wasn't allowed. So, he had already used 2 of his 4 tickets when he came in and he gave us all 4 of his tickets and said to head out and just get them scanned at the other side of the stadium and the 2 that hadn't been scanned would let us in ( he didnt know which ones were still valid ). All was well and KUDOS to him!!!!

Yep. Probably just the students being a-holes who shouldn't have been located where they were.

I'll +1 that my only bad spot was when I asked one of the police (not sure if it was campus or Ruston) where general parking was & only got "Alabama side" & told to move on as my reply. I still don't know what that means but I did find parking over by frat row & no hassle walking through before/after game.
