Look forward to it! Honestly most of the fan base is probably pulling for y’all in that game so we can get a new coach lol.

First of all, congratulations to New Mexico State.

How in the world do we let them score 49 points when they were averaging 14 or so? Typical Gill. How is it that we can beat the good New Mexico school but lose to the bad (like historically bad) one? I could say that at least it couldn't get worse from here but knowing Gill, we can lose to our FCS opponents. I am so over Gill and tired of his teases. It is (still) time for him to go.

Um... No. I am definitely NOT pulling for LU to lose any game.

Congrats to NM State. Y’all really looked good against us.
I thought we were going to win that game.
Our defense is playing horrid, putrid, terrible, right now, well actually for the last two seasons.
Buckshot was inconsistent, and the O Line struggled with the pressure all night.
Good luck NM State the rest of the season, except when you visit Lynchburg.

I agree with this sentiment. There is no draft pick to play for that would be a benefit to losing. We need McCaw to see that Gill is not the man for the job and that doesn't require LU losing. There is plenty of evidence of that already.

I agree that McCaw should see the light with Gill, despite the win loss record. However, having a bad record might make the change easier from a perception angle with the public and maybe even players/recruits.

Say what you want. I am convinced that if we win four games they are keeping him. He is doing damage to this team and I think he needs to go. He is a good guy but his coaching track record speaks for itself. I know he has some of the biggest wins in program history but is it him or our talent? I think he has gotten bailed out by players performing really well in those games. Look at the Baylor game: he tried desperately to lose that game with play calling. So mark me down as an Idaho St fan for a week.

Just like last year. Big win against P5 Baylor and then fall to the mighty St. Francis of PA.
