CSUB adds consensus 3-star De'Monte Buckingham. He has enrolled in school. Buckingham was dismissed from Richmond.

The 6'4 SG appears to have 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Buckingham had a plethora of impressive offers out of HS including Virginia, Maryland, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, and Rhode Island.

Buckingham averaged 12.2ppg 3.4apg 7.0rpg his Sophomore season at Richmond

Big pick up for CSUB but will sit this season out.

CSUB is no joke. They are the blueprint for a team looking to move up to D1. I'm glad they are in the WAC.

CSUB is Bakersfield, are you confusing them with Cal Baptist (CBU)?

lol. Both have a C B and U in their names. Croy the Cal Bap HC is taking a page out of the GCU playbook. Going after international kids to lay the foundation and build from there. Private schools that move up should do this every time.

There were some recent Cal Baptist threads and I got confused on this one. But in any case, I stand by my comments. Cal Baptist has done a great job with their transition to D1.

I just wish CBU would update its 2018-19 roster; so we know who is on the team officially. CBU is the only WAC school to not update its official roster.
