Dawson has 2 weeks to pull his head out of his ass and create an offensive gameplan that has a pulse. Maybe he's been saving stuff for the more important conference foes, who knows. It's also time for our run game to come alive. If the defense plays like they did against Auburn then I like our chances. If the run game gets going too then we win easy.

I can tell you this....I'm not going to bet against us....

my last two plays were dead nuts wrong....

our D is pretty dayum good.....that'll win even with a dipshite OC calling the plays coupled with a substandard OL....

Defense is really solid this year but it seems like every game there's always one or two plays where the opposing QB takes a deep shot on 1 on 1 coverage and its like our CB just watches the WR catch the ball for a big gain or a TD. Doesn't happen much. That's really been the only weakness thus far.

Our DB had pretty good coverage on those 2 deep balls by Auburn. DB wasn't beat. Issue was the WR was a ft plus taller than the DB and ball was perfectly placed.

But yeah, teams are going to now take those shots on us.

This is true but if you remember we couldn't stop their run game. That's crucial in any game. Last year their RB Jeff Wilson ran for 148 yards against us. Any time you can run the ball it opens up your passing game. That RB now plays for the 49'ers. With our defense I like our chances.

UNT's QB Fine got pretty banged up vs La Tech; however, UNT plays at UTEP this weekend so barring a miracle Fine will probably rest all of the 4th quarter. Had UNT being playing UAB/FAU/Marshall (anyone but UTEP or Rice) I would like our chances a little more as he would get beat up a little more. As it is I see us losing 24-20

Indeed....Water was actually flowing down the field that game. We won 22-0 and North Texas had one first down that game...by penalty.

I think this will be a close game. I'm gonna give the edge to USM 27-24.

This game will be Mosley's first start. Book it.

I think that’s the product of having a cornerback that weighs 160 pounds.

Auburn’s freshman receiver looked like he was swatting a mosquito away on that first touchdown.

UNT's starting RB Easly is out of the season with ACL injury. Sucks for them, good for opposing defenses. Led the team with over 400 yards of total offense.
