They could be worse than I thought but I really expected to lose by 30+.
Auburn isn't good by Auburn standards.
They're not going to win the West.
But we had a good showing.
Still proud of them Eagles. Wish we could've made it closer.
By Auburn standards? This AU team would beat the ever living chit out of most of the old AU teams we used to compete against. The gap has grown so incredibly huge as to put us in an absolute no chance position. We did well just to compete.

I did not see one damn thing that JA did, that Griggs couldnt have done, other than throw 2 ints. Hell, we may win that game with Griggs ffs.

When I was a Senior in high school, an eighth grader started over me on the tennis team. I was better than him and would win when we played, but they were always close games. Coach put him in because the long term gain was so much better, especially when I wasn’t miles ahead.
Griggs may have given us a better shot, but for two QBs that are highly comparable, why not let youth play for the long run betterment of the team?

RE: Holy Hell!
RB - the coaches are starting a senior over a freshman because they don't trust the freshman with blocking. The senior is likely a better receiver out of the backfield, but the freshman is the better runner. Note I don't see a lot of passes to our RBs.
QB - the coaches are starting a 1st year sophomore over the returning senior starter. This is likely in part to the suspension, but the logic is reversed from their RB logic. I'm guessing Abraham is able to run the offense they want to run better than Griggs.
Looking back over the last couple decades, our success has been with QBs who could pass, but weren't very mobile. (I do miss the days with AD under center on 4th in 1 and the QB sneak.)
The SEC talking heads and even Gus blamed their poor offense to date on the lack of experience at center. We have a true freshman center. Let's just say they know what they are talking about, our O line will get better as the season goes.
I see this team improving each game and by the end of the season, I think we'll be pretty good. Only personnel changes I see need to be made is Mosley start at RB and Anderson get 5-8 carries. The commentators made a comment about Anderson going from 240 to about 260 this season. He should be going the other way, about 230. He needed an oxygen tank on the drive against Rice where he was the feature back.
If we get a decent OC next season, this team will be very good by CUSA standards. Even if we don't, we'll still be very good.

Did anyone here see the UNT last year?

I'm telling you they're not the team they were last year. Last year's team was pretty good. Unfortunately for me those games are broadcasted here every Saturday and 90% of my co workers are Barners. Are they good? Yea. But they're going to drop a few more games this year.
USM made a great showing. Our offense needs to pick up.

What does this drivel have to do with kickoffs?

The more you score the more you get to kickoff. Right?

Only if the wrong guy reaches the end zone it's reported.
