I honestly do look fondly back on the CAA days, but I doubt we would've been very happy if we had stayed. VCU is our rival so once they left there wasn't much difference between CAA and wherever we wound up. Top to bottom the average of the CAA is still better than CUSA, but the top half of the CUSA is much stronger than CAA (the bottom 4 teams of CUSA are absolutely the worst, though). It is a very difficult conference to win. Not that I am exactly thrilled the last time we went to the NCAAT was 2012.
