Rice-Wake post game cmments
Well, most of us expected rice to be 1-4 at the end of September. Rice is meeting expectations.

I did not think we were well prepared today. We were not last week either. But I thought we were the first three games.

Lots of negative comments about the DBs. But I thought we did not get much much pressure on the QB. On the play where Nyakwal(sp?) intercepted, the QB had 5-7 seconds and nobody within 3 yards when he released the ball.

Lots of negative comments about the O-line. Plus one positive comment about how much better off we will be when 4 of them return next year.

I didn't like lots of the play calling.

This could turn into a 1-12 year.

BUT... we need to give Bloom 3 years to show us what he can do, if anything. We are not yet through even half of that first year. Jury is still WAY out.

Is Bloomgren calling the plays now? On TV in the 4th quarter, he was holding a card with our plays on it. I couldn't tell if he was signaling in any plays to anyone else or not, but I don't believe he's held onto the playsheets in past games?

He was holding them in the Hawaii game for sure.

I only watched the first half, and he was shown holding the playcard in the first half, too. See my comment on the other post-game thread on what I think about that.
