In somewhat Paxton related news, Chad Kelly got cut from the Broncos after getting arrested. Who is their backup now?

It seems that ship has sailed for PL, but who knows? They brought Brock Osweiller back at one point. Lol.

I'm guessing Denver might be regretting releasing Paxton after Chad Kelly was released. Not that Paxton would have been their preferred back up. But, now Broncos only have Kevin Hogan as back up.

Maybe the spring football league will give Paxton an opportunity to earn good money while realizing the great money he left lying on the NFL table. He has football skills that should have guaranteed his success, but he sabotaged those skills and ended up on the outside looking into what could have been.

At this point in his career his lack of seriousness and maturity have been what has done him in. It is more important to him to run around with his shirttail out trying it impress his high school buddies than it is for him to tuck it in and impress the professional who will pay him big money to perform.

A second opportunity has arisen which could provide him the opportunity to succeed. There is no guarantee that a change in attitude will lead to that success, but if he fails to accept the challenge he is guaranteed to remain on the scrapheap of what could have been. Here's hoping the boy grows into a man.
