Louisiana Tech vs North Texas Game Preview
Looks to be a fairly accurate preview of the game by Mean Green Nation.

Interesting tidbit.

Tech has a league-leading 11 players drafted since 2013. WKU has 10. NT has 0.

This is likely to be a very good game. It should be hard fought and fun to watch.

They are "unretiring" Joe Greene's #75 for one game. His stature is being unveiled before the game. And a little earlier in the day is the groundbreaking for the new indoor practice facility.

What does that have to do with the game Saturday?

The author was making a point about how Tech usually has talented players on the squad.

Who is wearing #75? I assume they are a playmaker and someone to watch for during the game.

Hamilton is a good player for us. He's probably not our best dlineman but he's good and you should see him make some plays during the game.

From the ESPN article:

[LaDarius] Hamilton was selected to wear Greene's No. 75 just for Saturday's game against Louisiana Tech because his traits as a leader, player and advocate best represented what Greene was to the program, according to a team spokesman.

"Strong Arm" "Arm Strength" so the writer objectively notes JMAR arm strength.

Nothing wrong with being a good college qb with a weak arm like Mason Fine.

BTW bench press has nothing do with arm strength, you dont see QBs doing the bench at the combine

No need to keep arguing about theory when we get to see them square off soon enough. Fine is a good QB. No need to trash him.

Yeah, but it was odd how he included WKU.

I don't think the author said anything about Mason Fine having a weak arm. The fact is that Fine is pretty good at the deep ball. He isn't tall, but he can sling it far and fairly accurately so.

Yeah, no one who watched Fine would say he has a weak arm.

I hope your secondary is as misinformed as you are.

The good thing is that you will find out the truth on Saturday.

You seem mighty confident Joe. Looking at the game score predictions on the Mean Green message board has been quite comical. We will see on Saturday night, safe travels to everyone going to the game. 04-cheers

Actually we have played against Fine as UNT QB the last 2 seasons & I'm sure is playing even better this season than the last 2

No theory seen Fine play 3 games live. Fine tends to float the down field pass thats one of the reason he led CUSA in INT's.
JMAR lacks touch, throws low on short routes and way too hard. Observations of a game not personal jabs

RE: Louisiana Tech vs North Texas Game Preview
I expect UNT to win and LA Tech fans will respond "Still not as good as those Boise State teams we used to play."

They will also point out meaning stats like "we had more yards in the 2nd QT, so you're not even that good"
