At that point in the game he was getting yards more often then not. I would have taken the chance of him picking up the one yard.

BTW, I'm sure I am preaching to the choir but Trevon Brown is electric. That one hander on the sideline was elite. Y'all got a good one there.

Cox had 20 carries

4 went for negative yards
1 went for 0 yards
4 went for 1 yard
4 went for 2 yards
1 went for 3 yards

6 runs went for 4 or more yards.

2 of those runs were on 3rd and long...1 being a 14 yard gain on 3rd and 20 (meaningless) and another being a 6-7 yard gain.

Taking out the 2 3rd down runs, 50% of his runs were for 1 yard or less. 13 out of 18 went for 2 yards or less.

Here were his 2nd half runs;

1 yard
3 yards
5 yards
-1 yard
1 yard
9 yards
14 yards (on 3rd and 20)
-4 yards
2 yards
7 yards
2 yards
0 yards

Running on 3rd and 1...ok...thats fine, but they got the matchup they wanted and the defender grabbed Duhart.

On the next drive, if they would have run the ball 3 times, there is very little chance they would have picked up a first down.
