RE: EMU Predictions
Almost every EMU fan is predicting a win and half or more NIU fans predicting a loss. Sad how far we've regressed.

I would've predicted a win if you told me Harbs would get more than 30 carries...

We had some momentum going into the half. Not only did we not score in the 2nd half but I am also fairly sure we did not have 100 yards of offense. I wonder if this was the coaching plan; simply protect a 3 point lead? I hope not as a 3 point lead sure is not anywhere near safe. It seems we can move the ball and score at times (not enough but better than in the 2nd half) and then we sort of let up. Very frustrating!

RE: EMU Predictions
That unfortunate pick that happened when the EMU stud DE Crosby got a piece of the ball as Childers was going deep for a potential 20-10 lead was the last down the field throw of the game. Also had a great pass down the field to Robinson completed and called back for holding. Really like that guy. He is tall, catches the ball, and excited to see him develop. Leave Tears in the bench and let Robinson play!

But the 4Q was pound the rock and let the D play. That’s what went down and it lead to the W. 62 carries and 235 yards on the ground. Let’s do it again next week!

Robinson I am getting excited about! I think both Tears and Robinson can be great. I did notice on that play after Tears broke all those tackles vs FSU last week, he did come up hobbling a little bit, he was really favoring the left leg today. I hope it is not a serious thing.

We were just lucky that EMU was as bad at FG as our offense was. Most teams we are not going to be able to sit on the ball for an entire half.

Rod surprises every so often. We do have a 2 minute offense, we never use it.
The coaches seem to have no sense of urgency on offense. The on-side kick to start the second half was a surprise.

While I have not seen or heard any indication that there will be adjustments to the offense, I am hoping there will be for the EMU game (and beyond). Being the 2nd worse team in total offense is a clear indication that adjustments are necessary and since EMU gives up 217 yards a game against the run (vs. 209 yards per game against the pass) makes it clear that we need to do. I am seeing Harbs getting 150+ yards on 20+ carries.

If I'm not mistaken was NIU's longest play of the entire game Childers' 16 yard keeper on 3rd and 14?
