Heading down early Saturday morning. Anyone know if there is an official ODU sponsored event scheduled? If not will probably pay the $ 20 to set up our tailgate in the Belk Lot. Says it’s first come first served so I’m a little concerned it could be full by our ETA of 11:30 am.

Heading down. Meeting up with 6 friends from Hampton Roads. Hoping for a much better outcome than last time we landed there. Also hoping for a large ODU crowd. Go Monarchs!!!

Heading down Saturday morning with a neighbor who's son goes to ECU and will be tailgating with the enemy in full ODU gear!

Heading down Sat morning with my son...possibly one other.

Went down the last time and wish we were this time, but will not be making the trip. Everybody going give a big huzzah from Aggie, and I will be yelling at the TV screen. Gig 'em, Monarchs!

Heading down with 3 others. Will be in their "Game Day Building" for seats. Will be flying the ODU colors for sure.

Would have been there (we went last time) but thanks to the hurricane (yes, I know it missed) I have a moved game this Saturday afternoon. Between ECU's up and down (NC A&T - UNC) performances and ours I have no certainty on what to expect but a sincere hope it will be a good game and one we can win. Go Big blue and 12th Monarchs be loud and proud.

Ill be there in the ODU section with 15 friends/family. It was a great game last time we were there.

Does anyone know if we can bring our own chair backs into ECU stadium? or is it one of those you have to rent from us places? Last time i have been there i don't remember renting one but after a very long drive i might need one this time.

P.S. What section is allocated for the Monarch fans that bought tickets through ODU?

My youngest attends ECU and I've been looking forward to this game for a while. Unfortunately, my wife and daughters could care less about football and we have a big family event one weekend in late SEP/early OCT every year that my wife scheduled on this weekend with lots of out-of-town family coming to our house. Had a lot of competing events throughout OCT so this weekend was the only one that worked. Hate it but gotta keep the peace and do the family thing instead. I will however attempt to avoid social media and watch it on tape delay (ESPN3).

Rolling with +3. Headed down early trying to get to Bs BBQ. And hoping we can keep our one game streak of good weather going.

Anyone find anything definitive on where you can park? I have found a lot of information about where you can't park.

Every time I've gone, there were a lot of options for places charging about $20 to tailgate/park.

Last time, we parked on the side of the Harris Teeter. That gave us a short walk to the stadium. It was also nice bc the spots backed up to a grassy area to set up our tailgate.

My wife, buddies and their families have ditched me. Why do people have to have babies and weddings in the fall!?! Debating if I want to take the bus since I'm going solo now.

Last time i have been there, i parked in the neighborhood and honestly its a short walk. If you have a stubborn toddler unwilling to walk like i do then it will be a little pain but very manageable. The farthest i have walked is at the damn NC St game where i had to park in some shrubs so far form the stadium that my feet ached by the time i got to the game.

Me (ODU) + 2 (ECU) + 2 family all looking forward to tailgating and the game.....

Don't forget the ODU Alumni Assoc. sponsored tailgate option. Tent will be near the ECU women's softball complex near Minges.
