I am very impressed with EMU's AD and head football coach. I think they will beat us on Sat. Sadly I do not see as much upside as some with Childers. He did look better but still not good enough to be a legit college QB in the second half at FSU.

I'm going to reevaluate Childers. Perhaps Rod's style (or lack thereof) was holding him back.
Although I have criticized Childers, he showed enough in the second half to give him the benefit of the doubt. The TD (called back) pass, the scramble touchdown, 40 passes and no interceptions....I hope Ive been wrong about him.
]He has a chance to redeem himself on Saturday.

I want to get back to Harnish/Lynch MACTION, the 50 point offenses of the past.

Receivers drop balls and Childers stares them down. Kids head never turns. Rbs are slow. Now that D is world class, if the offense helped their #s would be thru the roof.

Besides the gray turf what is that stadium like? I'm going for the first time and I always thought it looked like a dump on TV but hoping I am wrong.

The place is a dump. Attendance has traditionally been awful. The last few times I have been there for NIU @ EMU our crowd was bigger

Hate that NIU is having issues during a rare EMU up year. Close game I think, an NIU win helps keep the universe in order, fingers crossed.

Hopefully this game won't be more Carey-type "3 yards and a cloud of punts" all game.

Final score will be like 9-6 or something. Who wins? Who knows!

We all thought FSU would be a low scoring game, and look how that turned out.

We left 10 point on the field with the (*&* called back TD and the chip field goal.
