Agree 100%. This new class is one of the better MAC 2018 classes. Can't expect them to adapt to D1 in one season. This isn't Kentucky or Duke with 3-4 NBA freshmen talent coming every year.

It's going to be fun team to watch with all the younger players, but I'm sure not seeing the wins.

Definitely see 16-18 wins this season. Team looks like they are starting to come together. Next year should be the year to compete for the MAC title.

I hope you're right and I'm wrong, but one close loss to scUM doesn't mean we've 'turned it around'. The players were obviously amped-up to take on the Wolverines in Crisler Arena in front of 10,000 fans, let's see how they play against Akron or Toledo on a Wednesday night in January at their places in front of 500 fans.

I agree, these next 3 games before MAC play will go a long way to where we stand. Will be interesting to see. Flowers, what a baller!

They have. Defensively, ball movement, rebounds, maintaining the flow of the game. Scoring contribution will come as the year progresses.

Agreed. I feel horrible for the players.

And it wasn't even that ballsy of a prediction. I think everyone figured we wouldn't be close to .500 going into the season.

I’m sure GVSU or any other D2 school would have been pleased with the class.

One thing is for sure, several of you lack the class to admit I called it in September.

I predicted early on with the 3 surgeries the two Canadians would be in the starting lineup. Took longer for Emilien to start than I expected. I hate to think how bad the season would have been without them. Both Canadians will be All MAC in the future.
Huge failure of Hawkins staff was not signing a replacement for Seth in 2018 recruiting class. Still stick with my previous overall assessment.

The Bronco Frosh are not the players that avg over 3 TO per game.
