I feel for Navy. That Army game is going to be a really tough game to play. Not sure UCF would win.

Not taken as negative towards Navy - if someone said "Army looks better than Navy right now" that's a case you can make and a good discussion.

Anointing Army as really good doesn't hold up.

Because they put a scare in Oklahoma? It's what all three of us do. Navy vs eventual national champ Ohio State in '14, AF fans would claim Michigan last year. Yes, Army definitely outperformed my expectations that they would get blown out.
Duke the next best team they played and that went as expected.
Hawaii also surprised me - I really expected matchup problems on both sides of the ball for Army. But Hawaii never wins on the east coast, 4,500 miles from home. And wanting to play transitive property Army-Hawaii-Navy with the losing teams both being six time zones off would just be silly.
Beat Liberty? Okay.
Buffalo may end up being a 9-win MAC team...yawn.

And having said that - they will be favored in every game between now and Army-Navy: two FCS teams in November, they get Air Force at Michie, SJSU, EMU, and Miami Ohio.

I gotta bump this.

Buffalo takes down #13 West Virginia in basketball!

Buffalo football team moved to 9-1 earlier this week. Crucial game against Ohio next week.

Both teams might be ranked in the next poll.

No disrespect to any MAC fans reading this too because I love the MAC too.

Yeah, we had Army as a member in C-USA. I don't remember being that impressed...

I thought there was a process. MAC teams move to the CUSA. Then CUSA teams move to the AAC.

Temple was given a pass because they used to be in the Big East.

AAU
Helps with the UConn island problem...probably not but yeah

BYU and Army FB only - both said no.

Stay the course until 2025 - build from within.

True value of this conference rides on the next TV contract - P6 or G5?

On the plus side, UB is an AAU institution, but negatives are, that they lag behind Toledo and a couple of other MAC members in regards to facilities... Also, the fact that Buffalo has not been FBS all that long...

Then they'd fit in pretty well with the AAC East.

RE: Buffalo to the AAC
again, UMass and either Liberty/JMU should join the MAC.

Buffalo, UMass, Liberty/JMU, Kent, Akron, and Ohio can all be buddies.

Rather have Marshall over UMass. Still prefer north-south over what we have today.
