I’d say you’re correct with the reported 29000 figure. The upper bowl was closed and max capacity for the lower bowl is 36000. I’m good with it, 29000 is still a good crowd for two teams struggling for wins.

Capacity with Baylor was 36k and we had 43k. The dome stops counting after the first Q. I was at both games and IMO the Texas St gane was much much in attendance. We had well over 30kwell over

The upper bowl was open for Baylor due to the donated tickets for the armed forces. There were no donated tickets for TXSt and the upper bowl was closed.

Both fan bases did a good job for attendance. It’s nice having larger universities so close.

But I'll concede and go with posted numbers although many times stadiums get attendance way off, this was one of those instances. 30k is finebsnd 43k is fine. But Texas st gane had at least 40 by halftime.

I was at both games. There were many more people there for the Baylor game. The upper sections of the dome on both sides were open. There was a big ticket giveaway to the military.

One problem at the Baylor game was that people had trouble getting in and many missed the start of the game. The Alamodome apologized for that and said it would never happen again.

So was I.

I'm obviously biased but I don't think the better team won this game, JMO.

Nevertheless that was a great game. Me and my group had a lot of fun! Can't wait for next year's game
